We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team at Coventek Inc. As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to employees and customers via phone, email, and in-person.
- Hardware and Software Support: Install, maintain, and upgrade workstation and peripheral hardware and software.
- Problem Resolution: Respond to and resolve workstation, application, and server-related problems.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation on installed applications and troubleshoot office-related equipment and applications.
- User Assistance: Provide users with assistance in working with specific applications and maintain/troubleshoot office-related equipment and applications.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-5 years of job-related experience.
- Hours/Days: Monday – Friday / 8am-5pm (Full-time).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Windows Experience: Experience with Windows operating system and software.
- Help Desk Experience: Experience with help desk software and processes.
- Account Management: Experience with account creation, password resets, and setting permissions.
- Secure VTC Calls: Experience with supporting secure video conferencing calls.
- Software Patching and Upgrades: Experience with software patching and upgrades.
- System Hardening: Experience with system hardening and producing RMF documentation.
- STIGs: Experience with STIGs and data transfers.
- System Deployments: Experience with system deployments, including hardware, operating system, and software installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
