Key Responsibilities:- Oversee accounting and banking records, ledgers, and reporting systems
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, posting, and recording accounting data
- Verify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Participate in month and year-end closing activities
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Improve efficiencies for the Mortgage Loan business by actively participating in meetings
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
- Maintain daily working relationships within all aspects of the Mortgage Loan business
- Assist leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process
- Generate, analyze, and deliver reports to different departments as needed
- Minimum Bachelors' Degree in Accounting
- 5 years' experience in diverse accounting recommended
- CPA preferred
- Technology savvy and advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software
- Keen analytic, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess strong general technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft
