Join Our Team:
Danbury Health Systems is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our per diem team. As a RN Per Visit nurse, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' own homes. This role requires excellent assessment and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide per diem care to patients in their homes. As a RN Per Visit nurse, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This role requires excellent assessment and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs
    • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient data and physician input
    • Provide education and support to patients and families on wellness principles and related health topics
    • Conduct screening and diagnostic procedures as needed, and assist physicians with examinations and treatments
    • Interprets findings of tests and makes referrals as necessary

Requirements:
  • • Current RN license in the State of Connecticut
    • 0-6 months of experience preferred, but not required
    • BSN or equivalent degree a plus
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary Range:
$49.15 - $73.59 per hour ($82,043 - $122,356 annually), depending on experience.
