About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room Recovery department, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing your specialized skills and knowledge to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in shaping exceptional patient journeys, leveraging our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
  • Document patient care given, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need a current state RN license, a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school, and basic life support certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS certifications are required within six months of hire. One year of experience is preferred, and ASLS certification is also preferred.
