Job Summary:We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and specialty care to patients in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult, family, or geriatric nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
- Current, unrestricted valid Nurse Practitioner license from the Board of Nursing
- DEA certificate current or the ability to obtain
- Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties preferred
- Past experience working in long-term care, a nursing home, or with seniors in other settings preferred
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Intermediate level of proficiency in PC-based word processing, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
