Job Title: Maintenance Manager

At Sterling Engineering Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance department to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology, or relevant technical experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a progressive technical leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Manufacturing operations or production experience in the dairy industry preferred.
  • Experience with formalized Continuous Improvement processes (e.g., TPM, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses (e.g., electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing) preferred.
