Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Sterling Engineering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our maintenance department to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role
  • Experience with formalized Continuous Improvement processes (e.g., TPM, Lean Manufacturing)
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses (e.g., electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing)
