This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring presence in the office for three days and allowing for remote work for two days each week.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to independently manage diverse engineering projects while collaborating with a broad spectrum of clients, including architects, developers, property owners, and real estate professionals.

Working under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Site plan design
  • Geometric analysis
  • Grading and drainage solutions
  • Pavement engineering
  • Soil erosion and sediment management
  • Utility design (storm, sanitary, and water)
  • Stormwater management and sustainable infrastructure
  • Traffic planning
  • Preparation of detailed drawings and specifications
  • Permit application preparation and cost estimation
  • Participation in client meetings
  • Field assessments
  • Construction oversight and administration

Minimum Qualifications:
You must hold a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution or possess a comparable level of relevant experience.
At least five years of professional engineering experience is required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of a PE license in Michigan (or actively pursuing licensure) is preferred.
Experience with Civil3D software is advantageous.
