Job Title: Principal Hardware System Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Hardware System Design Engineer to join our team at CommScope. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed hardware systems for our Wi-Fi AP products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop system- and board-level designs for RF subcircuits based on various wireless industry standards.
  • Work closely with the broader Engineering team, consisting of Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineers.
  • Investigate, present, and evaluate new hardware solutions and/or PoC.
  • Review and evaluate designs of outsourced projects.
  • Generate necessary documents for all categories listed above, such as PoC, PRD, HRD, HWFS, BOM, test plan, FA report.
  • Sustain legacy products.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BSEE with 5 years of relevant experience in high-speed digital hardware design.
  • Excellent knowledge of SI and PI for high-speed designs.
  • Strong proficiency in OrCAD, Allegro, Arena, Ms Office.
  • Familiarity with design for compliance/regulatory testing.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with all cross-function teams.
What We Offer:

At CommScope, we offer a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $190,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
