We offer a market competitive base salary with a yearly bonus potential at every level, estimated to be around $140,000-$180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer (MDM) in CDO (Chief Data Office), you will partner with Architects, product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve the MDM platform team. You will code, test, and debug new and existing functionalities in MDM as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to delight our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude, and a continuous learning focus to all that you do. Your expertise should include:

  • Applied experience with several MDM tools, preferably Ataccama or other major MDM tools
  • Programming languages like Python, Spark, and Node.js frameworks
  • Data Store knowledge: NoSQL or Relational Data structures
  • Data Streaming: SQS, Kinesis
  • Application Programming Interfaces (API): Consumption & Development; implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) patterns; Web service technologies such as APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, MySQL
  • Unit, interface, and end-user testing concepts and tooling (functional & non-functional)
  • Automated testing
  • Familiarity with unix/linux, bash, and common shell commands
  • Dev Ops Tools & Practices: Branching techniques and usage of GitHub, Bitbucket or Subversion; DevOps, Jenkins
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Monitoring and logging techniques
  • AWS Core Services: AWS Services such as CloudWatch, Code-Deploy
