Echocardiography Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing and processing echocardiographic examinations, maintaining the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory, and assisting with special procedures.

• Perform and process echocardiographic examinations, including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures.
• Assist with special procedures, including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography.
• Analyze and file echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques.
• Assist in approved research activities.
• Perform mobile Echo service as directed.

• Graduate of Cardiac Ultrasound Training Program.
• ARDMS or RCS Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
