DC Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled DC Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key player in our supply chain operation, you will be responsible for ensuring all DC operations run smoothly, from receiving and processing merchandise to storing, packing, and shipping products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas, including efficient operations of warehouse management systems.
  • Ensure inventory is received appropriately and efficiently and safely processed in the warehouse.
  • Maintain and organize all areas of the warehouse to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Design and implement systems to effectively control costs in an evolving business environment.
  • Motivate, coach, and train supervisors and associates to ensure accurate and timely movement and processing of product.
  • Design and control of delivery schedules to maximize store service and efficiency.
  • Ensure a safe workplace by following Burlington safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership skills with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven professional with basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand for extended periods of time.
