Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Cyntergy AEC LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing refrigeration systems that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer design guidelines, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and local codes.
  • Prepare code-compliant refrigeration construction drawings and documents, including pipe sizing, refrigerant circuit grouping, equipment selection, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with case suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless integration of refrigeration systems with facility energy management systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with new refrigeration and HVAC system technologies and implement optimal equipment selection plans considering installed costs, energy conservation, and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to resolve equipment installation issues and ensure timely project completion.
  • Customize refrigeration system designs to meet specific customer needs, including line sizing, compressor size, compressor rack configuration, condenser capacity, expansion valves sizing/selection, and evaporator layout.
  • Perform site visits and surveys to assess and gather information for developing refrigeration system scopes-of-work.
  • Troubleshoot refrigeration systems and provide engineering reports to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred, but not required. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is recommended.
  • Competency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as Revit is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a multi-discipline team.
