Job Summary

CSC Generation Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seasonal Pastry Chef Instructor to join our team. As a Seasonal Pastry Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cooking classes and workshops, sharing your passion for pastry arts with our customers, and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality cooking classes and workshops, using your expertise in pastry arts to inspire and educate our customers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, ensuring that you can effectively communicate their value to our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with our Resident Chef and other team members to achieve sales goals and drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in pastry arts, sharing your knowledge with our customers and team members.
  • Ensure that all food items are cooked and served at the correct temperature and under sanitary conditions.
  • Model and ensure all Sur La Table policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated effectively to employees, maintained and consistently followed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience, preferably in a pastry arts role.
  • Culinary degree in Pastry or equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated successful teaching and training experience.
  • Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proven ability to drive sales and motivate teams.
  • Proven communication skills.
