Compensation InformationThe hourly rate for this position is $19.29, providing a competitive compensation package. Additionally, apprentices have the opportunity to earn retail product commissions based on program guidelines.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Hair Stylist to join our team as an Apprentice. This role involves assisting our top-performing artists while honing advanced skills through hands-on training. As part of our commitment to excellence, we offer a supportive environment that fosters growth and creativity.
Required Skills and Qualifications- An active Washington State cosmetology or hair design license is mandatory.
- 0-2 years of behind-the-chair experience are preferred.
- Applicants must be able to fully commit to 3 months of focused training, which includes classes, mentorship from a senior artist, and guest opportunities.
- Able-bodied individuals who can work a full-time schedule, 5 days a week, are ideal candidates.
- Open scheduling availability, including evenings and both weekend days, is essential.
- GJ team members enjoy a paid three-month, multi-faceted training program designed to set newer artists up for success.
- Consistent guest demand and tools to grow your clientele are provided.
