Job Title: Transcript and Student Records Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transcript and Student Records Coordinator to join our team at Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences. The successful candidate will provide support to the Registrar's and Student Affairs Offices in the area of student records, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transcripts and other student documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and analyze student transcripts from other institutions, verifying course completion and grading systems.
  • Review coursework for academic equivalency using university catalogs, course descriptions, and other materials.
  • Scan and upload incoming transcripts in the student information system (SIS) database.
  • Award credit for transfer credit work and provide communication to students and staff regarding results.
  • Provide assistance to students and staff in interpreting transfer credit policies and requirements.
  • Process transcript requests and education verifications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of transcript procedures, grading systems, and course equivalencies.
  • Utilize software used in student records, including SIS, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional administrative environment, preferably in higher education.
