We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mountain Empire Older Citizens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients, working under the supervision of the Clinical Services Coordinator and/or Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial, periodic, and unscheduled nursing assessments of participants to identify their needs and priorities.
- Develop and implement plans of care that integrate information from all disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Provide nursing care according to accepted practice standards, educating participants, families, and caregivers about the management of medical conditions.
- Identify emergency situations and initiate therapy as appropriate, respecting participants' rights and treating patients in accordance with ethical standards.
- Document changes in participants' status and communicate changes to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
