Job Title: Registered Nurse, RN PRN

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a hospice setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient symptoms using required software
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide patient advocacy and education on patient rights, grievance procedures, and reimbursement procedures
  • Supervise and direct aides and licensed practical nurses in accordance with guidelines and regulations
  • Participate in on-call rotating schedules and provide backup assistance as requested

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation
  • Nursing experience required, with experience in Hospice or Home Health preferred
  • Must possess a sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and elements of patient family teaching
