Job Description

As a Battery Test Engineer at InDepth Engineering Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our high voltage traction batteries. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive testing procedures to verify that each kitted set of components meets the necessary specifications.

You will work closely with our engineering team to design and execute tests, analyze data, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Your expertise in CAN software, data analysis, and troubleshooting will be essential in identifying and resolving problems related to wiring and communication with hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Analyze data and identify trends to optimize testing processes
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and execute tests
  • Troubleshoot issues related to wiring and communication with hardware
  • Log and track test results in an electronic log
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of automotive traction batteries
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Proficient with Sharepoint and online databases
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • CAPL scripting experience
  • Experience with assembly and validation of automotive traction batteries or other electrical devices
