This position requires collaboration with physicians and other healthcare teams to ensure effective patient treatment and progress. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and re-evaluations to assess prior and current levels of functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals.
- Provide direct physical therapy treatments, including patient and family education, and progression of treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient treatment and progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
- 1-2 years of related clinical practice experience in an outpatient setting.
- Current DC Physical Therapy licensure or eligibility for DC licensure.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR certification.
