About Methodist ER Converse

We are a 24/7 freestanding emergency center serving the Converse and surrounding area. Our facility features 12 all-private treatment rooms and a full range of services, including radiology, full-service laboratory, telemetry, and immediate intervention.

Our Commitment to Patient Care

We are committed to providing urgent and quality patient care. Our team uses a Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS) to electronically transmit diagnostic images, ensuring seamless patient follow-up.

Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse

You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients. You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
