We are currently seeking a Lead DevSecOps Specialist to join our team at the Woburn, MA facility. This role will be pivotal in guiding, managing, and addressing intricate challenges alongside our software development team throughout the entire development lifecycle. The Lead DevSecOps Specialist will oversee the establishment and management of the development environment, configuration and maintenance of cloud services, and administration of CI/CD pipelines for the management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) baseline. The ideal candidate will possess experience collaborating with software development teams, ensuring compliance and security protocols, monitoring operations, and enhancing development processes as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application of DevSecOps principles, processes, and tools to define and plan capabilities that support operational needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital engineering strategies and governance.
- Evaluate user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to formulate system specifications.
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies effectively.
- Manage complex projects that necessitate both on-premises and comprehensive cloud solution integration.
- Facilitate and lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring stakeholder priorities are addressed.
- Act as a strategic consultant, leveraging hands-on experience to design, build, and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
- Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines across multiple integration and testing environments.
- Install, configure, and manage automated testing tools within the operational environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Development support.
- At least 3 years in a DevSecOps Engineer role or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD orchestration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Ant, or similar.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.
- Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA or other defect tracking tools.
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and artifact repositories.
- Knowledge of at least one configuration/deployment management system (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, Salt, etc.).
- Comprehensive program lifecycle experience from concept development through deployment, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
- Selected candidates may undergo a government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for U.S. government clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of security tools and technologies, including static code analysis, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
