Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR functions including personnel file management, benefits coordination, and compliance with personnel laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with management on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring processes, including job description creation and advertisement.
- Conduct pre-screenings, manage the interview process, and prepare offer letters.
- Ensure compliance with COBRA guidelines and manage related documentation.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding, including health insurance enrollment.
- Conduct and document exit interviews.
- Manage unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
- Oversee performance evaluations and employee contract tracking.
- Coordinate staff training and internships.
- Maintain employee health files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in maintaining a list of approved positions and salary grades.
- Develop and maintain HR policies in collaboration with management.
- Address routine employee inquiries and consult with leadership to resolve issues.
- Review and enhance employee engagement and retention programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA reporting and Workers' Compensation audits.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of four years of experience in human resources or administrative management is required.
- Experience in a primary care or FQHC environment is preferred.
- Strong background in benefits and compensation administration is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Completion of pre-employment drug screening, TB test, required vaccinations, background check, and reference check.
