About the Job
The University of Georgia is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team in the Veterinary Radiology department. As an MRI Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating the Siemens Skyra 3T scanner for large and small animal MRI procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with anesthesia, faculty, and radiology house officers on patient schedules and patient intake
- Position animals during procedures
- Generate images to provide to the hospital clinician team
- Clean control room, magnet, and chiller cooling system
- Communicate with staff on progress of scans and if problems exist
