About the Job

The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a skilled MRI Technician to join our team in veterinary radiology. As an MRI Technician, you will be responsible for operating the Siemens Skyra 3T scanner for large and small animal MRI procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the MRI scanner for large and small animal procedures
  • Coordinate with anesthesia, faculty, and radiology house officers on patient schedules and patient intake
  • Position animals during procedures
  • Generate images to provide to the hospital clinician team

Working Conditions

The MRI Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team setting.
