Oral Surgery Billing Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled **Billing Supervisor** to lead our billing operations in the field of **Oral Surgery**. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical and dental billing and coding, particularly within oral surgery practices. This role involves overseeing the billing department, ensuring the prompt and precise submission of claims, and upholding compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily functions of the billing department.
- Guarantee the timely and accurate submission of claims to various payers.
- Analyze billing data to uncover trends and opportunities for enhancement.
- Formulate and enforce policies and procedures aimed at boosting billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Initiate and uphold physician credentialing status with insurance providers and healthcare facilities.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including **HIPAA** and **OSHA** standards.
- Provide necessary training and support to billing personnel.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth billing operations.
- Address and resolve billing discrepancies and issues with insurance companies and other payers.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and coding, with a specialization in oral surgery.
- In-depth knowledge of billing regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to foster team development and work cooperatively with various departments.
- Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
