Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Encino Hospital Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing care.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
