Job Summary

The University of Dayton's Research Institute is seeking a skilled Timekeeping Admin to join our team. This full-time benefit-eligible position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and process timesheets for biweekly payroll processing
  • Run timesheet control reports to identify and resolve compliance issues
  • Answer questions related to timesheets and labor
  • Perform account reconciliation and other accounting duties
  • Support timesheet and payroll audits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of three years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of accounting and financial management principles
  • Knowledge of complex accounting and/or Human Resource management systems
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with payroll processing and DCAA timekeeping regulations
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Ellucian Banner ERPs
  • Experience with defense contracting and/or sponsored research financial management
