Job Description

CompQsoft is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management, configuration, and administration of our enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain network devices, ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and DoD regulations.
  • Design, plan, and implement sound network infrastructure strategies to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Provide support, monitoring, and corrective action for network systems, including provision of network infrastructure to support communication requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, plan, and implement network systems planning, data management, and disaster recovery planning best practices and testing.
  • Install, configure, and integrate filers with Windows and Linux environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform regular backups, recoveries, and archiving of network systems hardware, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal network security posture.
  • Document incidents using the ticket tracking system, maintaining accurate records and facilitating knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, ensuring up-to-date information and easy access for the team.
  • Provide support, analysis, and incident resolution, working closely with the team to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 10 years of experience in network administration, with a strong background in network infrastructure management.
  • Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification.
  • US Citizen with Active Secret clearance.
