We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Distribution Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload delivery trucks, including physically moving inventory items weighing over 75 pounds
- Receive and stock merchandise using a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
- Operate powered industry vehicles (Forklifts, Man-up Order Selectors and Floor Scrubbers) in a safe manner
- Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage
- Process orders via paper and handheld scanner
- Assist with periodic inventory counts
- Perform routine facilities maintenance and/or housekeeping tasks
- Ensure facility and company assets are properly secured and maintained to ensure operational readiness
- Ability to learn and operate all facility equipment including computers, forklifts and retreading machinery
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Perform basic arithmetic functions: add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic
- Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and working from elevated surfaces
- Frequently lift and/or move over 75 pounds
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
