Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

This role is responsible for managing activities in the inventory control system, ensuring data accuracy and attention to detail. The candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, handling initial shipments, and managing returns or replacements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with various departments, including QA/QC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
  • Maintain and update inventory records with precision.
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies with thorough problem-solving skills.
  • Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary.
  • Prepare a list of depleted products and conduct surveys of unusable products.
  • Ensure traceability of all inventory movements.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and comply with GMP and ISO9001 regulations.
  • Cooperate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Shipping and Receiving:
  • Print daily sales receipts and cross-check with computer software to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and print shipping labels according to shipping needs.
  • Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items to be shipped, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping.
  • Track inventory and note shortages to bring to the attention of fulfillment team meetings for purchasing and customer service.
  • Process orders based on the buyer's preferred shipping system (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
  • Contact carriers and schedule shipping for each package.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain traceability of shipping and receiving activities.
  • Be willing to learn forklift operation to assist in inventory management and shipping processes.
  • Utilize ERP systems and shipping platforms effectively.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with ERP systems and shipping platforms.
  • Familiarity with GMP and ISO9001 regulations.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Forklift use; or willingness to learn and operate a forklift.
  • Ability to cooperate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Working Hours:

8A - 4:30P, M-F
