Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience for customers
  • Execute cash handling to standards, including operating a cash register and processing transactions
  • Engage customers on benefits of our rewards program and assist with enrollments
  • Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return and go-back process
  • Support shrink and safety programs to prevent loss and ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with omnichannel processes, including online order fulfillment and customer service
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions to meet their needs
  • Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time and move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment

Work Environment

Our public retail store setting provides a climate-controlled environment, with some stock rooms and outdoor areas that may not be climate controlled. Some physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, and lifting heavy boxes.
