Key Responsibilities
  • Project management for public and private jobs

  • Working with current bidding software

  • Asphalt plant operations, including working with plant operators, yard crew, and loader operators
  • Learning to run scales and assist with general maintenance of the plant
  • Working on construction crews and prep crews, learning from foremen
  • Equipment and shop operations, including business management and union CBA's
  • Aggregate manufacturing and sales, including learning about materials, operations, and logistics
Requirements
  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management or Operations Management
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions, safety procedures, and company policies
