About the Role:
This position requires a minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including three years of staff education and professional development experience. You should have a Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field and be certified in Nursing Professional Development or a clinical specialty. Your expertise will be essential in managing human, fiscal, and other resources to ensure quality programs with measurable positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement education programs that promote lifelong learning for healthcare professionals
- Provide expert consultation, direction, leadership, and accountability for education program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Manage resources to promote desired outcomes with attention to quality, efficiency, and cost
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or an eligible or compact state
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including three years of staff education and professional development experience
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development or a clinical specialty
