Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care as an Internal Medicine Physician.
- Work collaboratively in a clinic environment with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 3 patients per hour.
- Participate in hospital coverage for a limited number of days each year.
- Conduct rounds on new admissions and oversee hospitalist APPs.
- Be available for phone consultations to assist APPs as needed.
The clinic is equipped with dedicated exam rooms and offices, utilizing Cerner EMR for efficient patient management. The working hours are structured from Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, 8 AM to 12 PM.
On-Call Responsibilities:
On-call duties vary based on assigned days, with a low call volume on certain days and potentially higher volumes on others. An APP will cover evening admissions.
