Overview
The Post-Recovery Specialist is tasked with managing a substantial volume of incoming inquiries, acting as a subject matter expert for clients, and providing assistance in a prompt and effective manner. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely communication regarding all repossession activities to clients, adhering to their post-recovery protocols, and aiding associated departments in fulfilling necessary administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of inquiries related to all facets of the post-recovery division, including coordinating vehicle release and redemption, addressing client queries, and managing escalated issues.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all repossession activities from third-party service providers to the relevant clients, either via electronic communication or within the client's designated system.
  • Collect all necessary documentation required by clients for each repossession to comply with service level agreements and timelines.
  • Handle a significant number of incoming calls to arrange vehicle releases and make outbound calls to coordinate logistics, documentation, and respond to inquiries.
  • Oversee lot inventory management, which includes processing redemption requests, managing transport releases, and liaising with agencies to maintain an accurate count of vehicles on-site.
  • Address contested repossessions to guarantee that the vehicle retrieval process is executed efficiently and accurately.
  • Compile analytical reports on repossession activities for client review.
  • Maintain timely and appropriate communication with clients.
  • Provide customer service support through phone interactions.
Required Skills
  • Professional phone etiquette is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail, with efficient and precise data entry and research skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution.
  • Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service or administrative roles within an office environment.
  • Experience managing multiple phone lines is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
