About the Role
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solid Waste Engineer/Project Manager to join our Waste Management Practice in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in expanding our practice in the Solid Waste and Industrial Waste sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Solid Waste industry;
- Manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities;
- Lead projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery;
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project management best practices;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated project services and innovative solutions;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure CEC remains a leader in the field.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the Solid Waste industry, including engineering design, operations, and management;
- Demonstrated business development and client management experience;
- Strong professional relationships with clients in the Solid Waste sector;
- California Professional Engineering licensure;
- Sound understanding of business principles and project delivery tools.
