About the RoleThis is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and skilled radiation oncologist to join a well-established practice at a premier institution, consistently ranked as one of the best healthcare facilities in the country. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care for all patients and have experience in advanced radiation techniques such as SBRT and SRS.
Research OpportunitiesThe ideal candidate will have research interests and experience that can integrate into and be nurtured by the novel cancer research program at Atlantic Health System. This includes participation in the NCI-sponsored NCORP community oncology research grant and the Breakthrough Oncology Network, in partnership with the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and other premier oncology programs.
Proton Therapy CenterAtlantic Health System has announced plans to build a proton therapy center, one of the first in the world to use the Mevion S250-FIT novel system. The ideal candidate will have experience treating patients with proton therapy and the initiative and creativity to help build a world-class particle beam therapy program.
