We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Hollander Ridge, a 94-unit affordable housing community in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair issues in areas such as appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Complete service requests and repairs in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform maintenance tasks associated with the preventive maintenance program, building inspections, and unit inspections.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
- Be available for on-call activities during off-hours and emergencies based on a predetermined schedule.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in residential/apartment maintenance.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Basic familiarity with technology, including cell phones and computers.
- Availability for rotational on-call activities every 3 weeks.
- Ability to speak and understand basic English.
- Excellent appliance repair skills.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet driving records standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Vocational or technical training.
- HVAC certification.
- CAMT certification.
