About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Hollander Ridge, a 94-unit affordable housing community in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair issues in areas such as appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Complete service requests and repairs in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform maintenance tasks associated with the preventive maintenance program, building inspections, and unit inspections.
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
  • Be available for on-call activities during off-hours and emergencies based on a predetermined schedule.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in residential/apartment maintenance.
  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Basic familiarity with technology, including cell phones and computers.
  • Availability for rotational on-call activities every 3 weeks.
  • Ability to speak and understand basic English.
  • Excellent appliance repair skills.
  • A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet driving records standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational or technical training.
  • HVAC certification.
  • CAMT certification.
