Youth Program Assistant

**Job Title:** Youth Program Assistant - Seasonal
**Estimated Salary:** $38,000 - $45,000 per year
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Youth Program Assistant to join our team at YMCA. As a key member of our seasonal staff, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality program activities that promote the social, emotional, and physical development of children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and implementation of program activities that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Support the supervision of groups of children in a seasonal day camp setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of engaging program schedules that meet the interests and abilities of participants.
- A minimum age of 17 years old is required for this position.
- Previous experience working with children in a camp setting is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, and O2 are required within 30 days of hire date. Redwoods Training and New Employee Orientation are also mandatory within the first week of hire.
