We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team in the US Virgin Islands. This is a temporary assignment with a reputable hospital partner in St. Croix.
Key Details- 24-hour on-call shifts
- Coverage of C-Sections for newborns
- NRP and PALS certifications required
- 4-bed nursery with an average of 4-6 patients
- 1-2 admits per day and 0-1 admits per night
The hospital has Neonatology coverage, and the doctor will be responsible for covering C-Sections for newborns. The shift times are 24 hours, and the number of beds is 4. The average admits per day and night are 1-2 and 0-1, respectively. The ICU beds are none, and the specialist backup is available for minor problems. Midlevel support is also available for minor issues.
