Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hatchery Operator to join our team at Pilgrim's. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hatchery facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular checks on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Verify that all eggs are properly stored and handled
  • Monitor water chillers and perform maintenance tasks as needed
  • Close gates and secure areas to prevent accidents
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with unloading and loading trucks, and move egg dollies as required
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including temperature checks and chick counts
Requirements
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to read numbers and understand basic math concepts
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with hot temperatures and wet floors. Personal protective equipment, including earplugs and gloves, will be provided.
