Electrical Systems Engineer Opportunity

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to support our Flight Test organization in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and flight testing of electrical systems on flying test beds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical systems interface definition, design, and integration
  • Electrical system verification and validation test support
  • Cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness of the system under test
  • Proper operation of the system under test during test bed ground and active flight operations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a BS Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering or other related STEM field
  • Experience with design, integration, and/or troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Experience with avionic systems development and testing
  • Willingness and ability to fly on experimental aircraft
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Current ACTIVE DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, primarily avionics, electrical power, and cooling
  • Field Engineering experience, including actual Flight Test Experience
