Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design and specification, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting engineering and project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications. They will also perform and supervise the execution of designs, including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.
  • Perform and supervise the execution of designs, including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and provide engineering support through design and construction phases, including responding to AHJ comments, shop drawing review, and responding to RFIs.
  • Review deliverables, including QA/QC through design and construction.
  • Serve as a technical resource to internal staff.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience.
  • Registration as a PE (required).
  • Department of Defense design experience is desired.
  • Ability to supervise and manage projects of varying sizes.
  • Excellent leadership, supervisory, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • RCDD certification is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Be a positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
