About the Role:
The Dental Group at Polaris is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care and guarantee patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside by providing necessary instruments, materials, taking x-rays, and performing suction during procedures.
- Prepare patients for their treatments based on established protocols.
- Manage and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
- Educate patients on oral health care, giving preventive advice and instructions.
Qualifications:
- A valid Dental Assistance Certification is required.
- Understanding dental office operations is essential for this role.
- Effective communication and organizational skills are vital for interacting with patients and the dental team.
- Proficiency in computer skills is necessary for maintaining patient records and utilizing dental software effectively.
