Job Summary

As a Logistics Manager I at National Guard Employment Network, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of key purchasing metrics, managing issue resolution and problem-solving to support manufacturing processes, and performing daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analysis of current processes using operational metrics and reports. You will also support monthly operational reviews with presentations and relevant data for key suppliers, measure supplier performance, and implement supply strategies to support customers' needs. Additionally, you will partner with other stakeholder teams across business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation collaboratively, communicate effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams, and implement a rigorous and disciplined process for managing the supply base. You will also work with the New Product Introduction team to ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on new programs supporting all lines of business, and lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction metrics are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage key purchasing metrics
• Manage issue resolution and problem-solving to support manufacturing processes
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analysis of current processes using operational metrics and reports
• Support monthly operational reviews with presentations and relevant data for key suppliers
• Measure supplier performance and implement supply strategies to support customers' needs
• Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation collaboratively
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
• Implement a rigorous and disciplined process for managing the supply base
• Work with the New Product Introduction team to ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on new programs supporting all lines of business
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction metrics are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation
• Six (6) years of experience with Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing transformational efforts in manufacturing or service environments
• Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis to drive improvements for internal and external customers
• Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management, including communicating with customers and senior leadership
OR
• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field and four (4) years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation
• Four (4) years of experience with Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing transformational efforts in manufacturing or service environments
• Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis to drive improvements for internal and external customers
• Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management, including communicating with customers and senior leadership
