About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team at Shipt. As a Privacy Counsel, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's reputation and ensuring compliance with key US privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on privacy-related matters, ensuring that privacy considerations are embedded into our product development processes.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to influence and implement privacy-by-design strategies.
  • Develop and maintain our privacy policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead training sessions to promote a culture of privacy awareness.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Privacy Law, particularly in the ad tech and product advising sectors.
  • Strong understanding of CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA, VPPA, COPPA, TCPA, and other relevant privacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with ad tech platforms, data management, and digital advertising technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proactive and strategic approach to enhancing the company's privacy posture.
