Position Overview

The Phlebotomy Technician plays a crucial role in the collection of specimens for laboratory analysis within the inpatient environment. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, from newborns to the elderly. Team members are allocated to various inpatient units based on demand and are expected to deliver prompt and precise service.

QualificationsExperience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy is required.

Language Skills

Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are preferred.

Educational Background

A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Certification Requirements

Proof of formal training in Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting is necessary; annual recertification is not required. PBT (ASCP) certification is highly desirable.
