About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on the 6 East Surgical Short Stay unit at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Participate in shared governance and unit practice council to improve patient outcomes and unit operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to provide the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
