Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Novant Health. As a Registered Nurse on our General Medical Surgical unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including gastrointestinal issues, hepatobiliary surgeries, pancreatitis, ostomies, vascular surgeries, and orthopedic overflow surgeries.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
